Our Company

Artificial Grass Whittier is a local marketing site for Halo Turf. Halo Turf has over 14 years of experience in the artificial grass industry. There are few companies who have synthetic turf for as many years as a Halo Turf.


Halo Turf’s unmatched leadership experience in artificial grass installation, along with the longevity of our installation crews, makes Halo Turf the recognized leader in the business. You may find someone to install your turf as well as we do, but you won’t find anyone better at any price!


Until recently, Halo Turf was know as Always Green Synthetic Grass. Unfortunately, because of our success and longevity, too many competitors began using our Always Green moniker, our logos, photos of our crews and jobs, and even photos of our trucks. This was the impetus for us to rebrand with a name that would not be mistaken.


Our new name Halo Turf was chosen by owner Mike Greenberg due to his passion for baseball, his support for local youth baseball programs, and his support for the California Angels.


Halo Turf is licensed bonded, and insured with limits that meet or exceed most city, school district, and municipality requirements. For our client’s safety and peace of mind, all our consultants carry their Contractor State License Board mandated H.I.S. card.


The H.I.S. card means our consultants are fingerprinted and background checked by the CSLB so you know who you are allowing into your home.

Frank Moreno, your Whittier consultant, has been in the construction industry for 38 years. After semi-retiring in 2019 as V.P. of A-1 Steel Fence Company, Frank move into local online marketing to help small business owners generate local leads.


Frank’s desire for artificial grass at his home led to a meeting with the owner of Always Green Turf (now Halo Turf), Mike Greenberg. Mike and Frank started working together with Frank bringing a new approach to reaching local communities. 


Due to his years in construction working with the Federal, State, and local municipalities, Frank brings decades of experience to Halo Turf.


Frank’s strong belief in customer service has helped him garner long time clients include multiple cities, school districts and corporations throughout the southland including USC, UCLA, Whittier College, Occidental College, Montebello Unified School District, Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District, Coca Cola, Knotts Berry Farm, U.S. Storage Centers and many more.
